What will you discover on this tour?

The adventure begins with a drive to Hacienda Tacama, a journey of approximately 4 hours filled with views of the Peruvian desert.

Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the vineyards, where you’ll learn about the wine and pisco production process at one of Peru’s most iconic wineries.

During the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a wine and pisco tasting, where you can appreciate the unique flavors of these traditional beverages. Additionally, if you wish, you can choose to have lunch at the hacienda’s restaurant (lunch not included in the price).

In the afternoon, we’ll head to the Huacachina Oasis, where you’ll enjoy a two-hour adrenaline-filled adventure. We’ll hop into buggies, driven by expert drivers through the desert’s massive sand dunes, and you’ll get to try sandboarding, gliding down the dunes.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

  • This is a private tour with flexible departure times: you can choose between 5:00 a.m., 6:00 a.m., 7:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m., or 9:00 a.m.
  • The earlier you start the tour, the sooner you’ll be back in Lima. This is ideal if you have an evening flight, as it allows you to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours in advance. Keep in mind that if you leave early, you’re less likely to enjoy the sunset over the dunes.
  • The buggy ride and sandboarding in Huacachina last approximately 2 hours.

Optional:

If you’re an experienced snowboarder and would like a professional sandboard, please let us know in advance; this incurs an additional cost of $15.00 USD per person.

Next, take a moment to relax and enjoy a magical sunset. Find the perfect spot to watch the sun dip behind the dunes, creating an unforgettable spectacle.

We’ll wrap up the tour by taking you back to your hotel or Airbnb in Lima.
